“With my husband’s fortieth birthday fast approaching, I was at a loss as to what to give him.

I then saw that one of my friends had used Richard Willett's photography for a family portrait and the idea of a family portrait for my husband’s gift, took seed.

 

We booked in and before we knew it the day arrived.  We must have been the worst clients. We had no idea what we wanted and I hate having photos taken.

However, Richard had some great ideas and quickly made us feel at ease.

I had seen some lovely Autumn shots on his site and suggested it to Richard. He came up with a fabulous location and before we knew it, we were having the shoot done and we quickly settled into the rhythm of it. Richard was sensitive to the different personalities in our family and the family dynamics. He soon made us feel as if we were just spending an afternoon in the leaves and there was no embarrassment about having our photos taken. He was professional, friendly, and a perfectionist.

His patient, kind demeanor is a smokescreen for what is going on inside his head. His attention to detail means that the client can enjoy the shoot, whilst he works out all the finer details and makes sure that it is perfect.

When the photos came back, we were thrilled. They are superb and captured all our personalities perfectly. We have had several people comment on them. The colours are sharp and they are really natural shots. Richard went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the final product and that most importantly, he was happy with the final product.
